I know Kristen through my corporate job, where I've had the pleasure of getting to know her over the last few years. It feels like she and her husband were just married, and now here they are - learning the ropes of parenthood. Prior to the start of her maternity leave, I knew just how much this precious face was going to mean to her (I mean, really, it goes without saying) and reached out to see if she and her husband would be interested in capturing their newborn upon arriving home from the hospital. Fast forward a few days, I stopped by for what I'm sure felt to them like forever - taking ample breaks to attend to this beauty's needs. You could feel the stress in appeasing baby, but I am so glad these two stuck with me and allowed me to capture them with her. These memories fade in time and I know they'll appreciate looking back at the photographs we captured when the memories begin to feel distant. All it takes is one look to feel that moment again...
When I first arrived, Kristen's mother was visiting, allowing Kristen to prep for our session as she soaked in sweet baby cuddles. So precious!
